High on the Mountain, Drunk on the World
Join us this Sunday, February 15th | 9:30 AM or Facebook Live
Are we being refined by God’s fire, or are we just "vibrating" with the agitation of a busy world?
This Sunday is Transfiguration Sunday, a "hinge" moment where we stand on the mountaintop of glory before turning toward the long, dusty road of Lent. In a world obsessed with the "Handheld Morning"—instant oatmeal, microwaves, and sixty-second solutions—we’ve developed a "Microwave Theology" that leaves our souls hurried, intoxicated by efficiency, and twitching with distraction.
We will visit Matthew 17, exploring why Jesus required a "six-day gap" before revealing His glory and why Peter’s first instinct was to turn a divine presence into a construction project.
What to expect:
A Call to Detox: Learning to trade the "vibration" of the world for the steady pace of the Spirit.
The Hallowed Morning: Moving from a "Microwave Faith" to a "Sober Vision."
Holy Communion: A table open to all who seek to find God in the mundane and the magnificent alike.
Come as you are—whether you are on the mountaintop or deep in the valley—and help us turn our daily "grease and laundry" into an altar.
